Illinois winter crappie fishing. In real winter fishing when temps dip below freezing you have to put down the baitcaster for a more versatile approach in spinning gear. Though you’ll have to dip your tip in occasionally to get ice off your guides and line for a more smooth reel. That’s nothing compared to not being able to fish! :)
